Traumatized by Alexander S. Brown

Even though I have read this book before, I decided to pull it off my bookshelf to re-read it in honor of Halloween. Traumatized is a great collection of short stories that is just right to get you in the spirit of all things gory and frightening. Alexander is a great author who's words are so descriptive that you can almost feel the terror of a deformed twisted hand grabbing your ankle  like in "Bloodlines" or even feel the pain course through your body as Zoe mutilates herself in "Zoe's Swan Song".

I have to say that one of my favorite short stories in this book is "Two Miles". It was almost as if Alexander was in my head when he described the trip to Hell. I have thought about it many times and it is normally very close to this story. After reading this, I'm sure you will think about your own immortality and think about changing your life to keep this from happening to you!

It doesn't matter how many times I read Traumatized, it is still a page turner. I can never seem to be able to devour the words fast enough, even though I know what is going to happen next. The words that Alexander writes, stay with me for  days after I get through and they have me jumping at each and every little noise.

This is a must read for anyone who loves to read. It is 15 short stories of horror and fear that will leave you wanting more.  Even if you don't like horror, I believe you will enjoy this book. I personally, cannot wait for his next masterpiece.
